Perhaps it helps that now, not all of the development is done by one person. If someone leaves, there are plenty of people to continue development :)

It is correct we can’t do this on our end because we are unable to have any interaction with any mobile operating system at this time. I never looked around for other apps that do it apart from the official Tumblr app, but it’s the question whether you want to download that.

It’s a bit strange - as far as we’ve noticed, if you uninstall the old XKit and re-install the new one in Firefox in the same browser session (without closing), your settings should be preserved. This doesn’t happen in Chrome, and we have no idea why. That’s being looked into, though!
