You could always move the settings for xkit into an actual chrome/firefox settings panel. I don't know how hard that would be to make cross platform, but you could probably just move everything to one of those and have the xkit button open a new tab with that page when you clicked it (or do it as an option).

We’re throwing ideas like that around, and we’ll post on here once we made a decision on what’s going to happen there!

So which version do we use? Github or ap store? The github version disabled itself on chrome because its third party and didn't give me the option to reenable it, so im using the ap. Will that still update?

Yes. The app store one is automatically updated when the one on GitHub is.

Would it be possible, at some point, to make the Xkit setting accessible (in Firefox, specifically) via a toolbar button or the addons dialog, or even a bookmark, so that if Tumblr changes something and makes the Xkit button disappear, we can still access our settings? Thank you!

The idea of doing that is already being thrown around. Nevertheless, thanks for your suggestion!

I haven't checked the blog for pages so I don't know if there's only one person running this blog or a few, whoever it is/they are deserve so much thanks. New x-kit has been a blessing and it's so wonderful that you're taking in peoples suggestions/requests, this is probably a really big project you've taken on and I just want to say you're wonderful for doing this for everybody. I hope good things in life happen for you <3

It is a few people running the blog, but I just so happen to be the most active one today :) Thanks a lot for your kind words, it means a lot to us!
