I am not seeing any errors locally with XKit 7.7.0 and Separator 1.1.0. What is broken for you?

“testing wanted” and its replacement “needs repro” are used to signify problems that we know happen, but that we haven’t actually seen ourselves. Most of the issues with editable reblogs have yet to happen on any developer’s computer. If a user comes to a “needs repro” issue saying that they have the issue then we can badger them for more information about their setup and what they did to encounter the problem.
Relatedly, if you are experiencing any of the issues that need reproduction, please let us know on Github.

There actually are plans on redoing XCloud thanks to a very ambitious and very wonderful contributor. Creating a local backup and restore function is also on our radar but will probably not happen before the XCloud replacement
Every time I open tumblr in chrome, this message appears. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the new xkit and it still appears. Do you have any idea why?
We do have an idea why, and while it looks like this might no longer be happening, this will be fixed in New XKit version 7.7.1. The 7.7.1 update will be released in the next few days.

There is now! Find it in Tweaks 3.2.9, under Dashboard Options.
maybe we should move this to anti-capitalism? makes more sense imo.
also I have an even better replacement, maybe I should add that to tweaks/anti-capitalism/the gallery or something.
I didn’t realise that the asktime things were still capitalist, otherwise I would have put it there. Not sure how good an idea it is to move it now.
Definitely upload that extension to the gallery. It’s more of a novelty extension, so I think it should be stand-alone.
With the new update, Tumblr forced gifs (and possibly other images?) to stretch to fit the width of the post. With the new option in Tweaks 3.3.1, we’ve added a checkbox to the gear drop-down in post creation to turn that off.
As it stands now, the option only works on images already added to the post, so make sure you use it after you’ve added all the images you want original-sized.
For gifs added from the gif browser, the “originally posted by” is still full width:

We are not. Apparently there was an unfollower tracker extension a long time ago, and it led to Tumblr banning people who harassed people who unfollowed them. We really don’t want Tumblr angry at us for facillitating a repeat of that incident.

If you have the newest Firefox for Android (39+), you can download the XKit extension and use it on the desktop site.
Other than that, we’re not currently working on a mobile port. We will eventually, but we’re still fixing everything that went wrong after the old XKit Guy left and repairing what Tumblr Staff breaks.
If a mobile port is really important to you, you can contribute over on our github, either by getting the current extension to show up on the mobile site, or by starting a proper app.
