You have to install the extension before it will show up in the editor. Sometimes you‘ll need to refresh the editor before it will show up.

New XKit 7.6.3 Released

We have hopefully fixed the issues on Chrome with Go To Dash. We also made minor platform improvements to both the Chrome and Firefox addons. Note that for Go To Dash to work on Chrome you will need to wait for an automatic update or manually update the xkit_main extension.

the instant reblog, instant queue, go-to-dash, profiler, and iconified unfollow/reblog/dashboard buttons on the top right of a blog are just not being a thing for me. I cannot for the life of me remember what extension those were supposed to be from, but whatever it is, it isn't working. When I visit a blog the top right corner looks the same as it does on a computer without xkit installed. It's looked like that for the past couple days, and I'm fully updated and using chrome.

Thanks for the information! This is a Chrome-specific permissions bug. It will be fixed by an update later today.

Go-To-Dash and Audio+ Update

We’re getting a lot of messages about Go-To-Dash not working. We want you all to know that we’re working on it, but the fix involves an update to XKit itself, so stay tuned.

Additionally, we fixed an issue with Audio+’s volume slider scrolling on top of the header.

so i was talking to my friend and i realised there is no “Respond” button, i can answer asks though, i took this after the notes catastrophe so idk if it’s either the extension or Tumblr

This is a Tumblr problem. If everything started running super slow for you right after notes came back, this is also a Tumblr problem. To quote the other dev, “They probably fucked up a migration and are now running off of backups with everything on fire.“

You’re right. They’re still visible (and functional!) on the popup blog sidebar, though the icons are now screwy. We’re going to wait a bit and see if the issue solves itself when Tumblr staff fixes notes.
