So my friend finally got xkit for firefox but it took her 3 tries to get it as a addon and now the xkit button refuses to show up. Any tip or ideas to get it to work? She restarted her browser at least 6 times.

If she types about:addons into the address bar, does it say that the extension is disabled? Newer versions of Firefox (should just be Nightly and Developer, not the main line) disable unsigned addons by default.
