sorry if this has been asked already, but I can't seem to find No Sidebar for new xkit? Is there a way (or plans in the works) to transfer it over?

Answering this here because this is the fourth or fifth ask we’ve gotten on it in a few days, No Sidebar was merged into “Open In New Tab” extension, under the option “Open in new tab instead of blog sidebar”.

This change was made back in July, but seems to still be tripping a few people up. Maybe we should document it somewhere?

normally its pretty hard for us to answer anon asks because we don't want to spam all of our followers with stuff but on the other hand leaving stuff like this sit in the inbox also sucks anyone have any suggestions? anonymous

I'm using chrome and for some reason, when the servant extension enabled, everything completely shuts down. My dash won't load, I can't see messages in my inbox, my drafts either won't load or they'll get stuck halfway open when I try to edit. I'm not sure why this is happening, but after some trial and error I figured out it was specifically servant that seemed to cause this and everything's running smoothly now since it's disabled, but it's one I tend to rely on a lot.

We can’t reproduce this. Can you give us more information?

I am using Firefox 39.0.3 on Windows 8. The problem I am having is that the new xkit WILL NOT work. I have uninstalled all of my other addons (Adblocker). I have restarted Firefox. I've even restarted my computer. I've tried re-downloading the addon countless times from the one you have linked on your blog. It will say on my addons page in Firefox that I have the "New Xkit" installed but when I go to my dashboard the xkit symbol is not there! Please help!

not sure if you guys know this but on chrome on windows 7 the extension gallery won't load. i literally have left it open overnight (9 hours) just to check and it hasn't worked. woke up to it still "loading extension gallery". i've uninstalled and reinstalled xkit on a bunch of different browsers and nothing. restarted my computer several times. is this a chrome issue? do i have to uninstall and reinstall chrome? is anyone else even having this problem? bc none of my chrome friends are

We’ve looked into the issue, and it seems like the solution is to update Chrome. If that doesn’t solve it for you, give us more detail over at the bug’s gitub issue, or send an ask if you can’t use Github.

Hey! I kinda have the problem that when I reblog something it either deletes the whole caption or that the caption is double after I reblogged.

We’re aware of these issues and need more information. They’re almost certainly linked to editable reblogs, although I’ve seen a couple people say they have the same issues without XKit at all.
