Oh how the turntables…
Thank you very much for pointing this out! We will still be looking into this as it is possible that having Editable Reblogs enabled causes the Tumblr glitch to happen more frequently.

Can you provide a post or two that tend to trigger the behavior? If you
have a Github account or are willing to create one, I’ve filed https://github.com/new-xkit/XKit/issues/211
to track this issue. This is definitely a high priority for us to fix
and if you can tell us your operating system and default Tumblr text
editor it will be much easier for us to fix the issue. I’m answering this publicly in the hopes that other people with this issue can comment.

I am not seeing any errors locally with XKit 7.7.0 and Separator 1.1.0. What is broken for you?

“testing wanted” and its replacement “needs repro” are used to signify problems that we know happen, but that we haven’t actually seen ourselves. Most of the issues with editable reblogs have yet to happen on any developer’s computer. If a user comes to a “needs repro” issue saying that they have the issue then we can badger them for more information about their setup and what they did to encounter the problem.
Relatedly, if you are experiencing any of the issues that need reproduction, please let us know on Github.

Yes, XKit will automatically update given enough time on its own. The going to extensions workaround is only for people who want to make sure it updates as quickly as possible.

If it isn’t showing up at all, this may be related to the recent Firefox panic and may be solveable using the same technique. If that doesn’t fix it, can you share any output that shows up if you open up the JavaScript console (View > Developer > JavaScript Console or Ctrl-Alt-J)?

I’m so sorry! I didn’t realize that there used to be an Elevator extension that did that. The wording is hopefully clearer now. I also have added the option to make the scroll to top button bigger into Tweaks version 3.2.6.
