You’re right. They’re still visible (and functional!) on the popup blog sidebar, though the icons are now screwy. We’re going to wait a bit and see if the issue solves itself when Tumblr staff fixes notes.

Notes just turned invisible. This is a Tumblr problem, not an XKit problem. Hopefully staff will fix this soon, and not break XKit while doing it.

We’re pretty sure this is caused by corrupted data from old XKit. Usually, you can uninstall old XKit and still keep all your settings when you install the new version, but sometimes those settings will get corrupted during the move. The solution right now is to refresh Firefox and then reinstall New XKit.

Do you have r/q/d quick-blogging on? The post editor from the blue pencil icon doesn’t work with the shortcuts. The post editor from the icon list at the top of the dash works fine, though. If you really want both shortcuts and mid-dash posting, you could make the icons scroll with you using the option in tweaks

This is one of our most popular errors. Rejoice! It has been fixed! Make sure you have updated to Auto Tagger version 0.6.4. If necessary, you can manually update on the extension page.

You should have version 7.6.1

We’re aware of the queue issue and hopefully will have a fix out soon. We just pushed an update that should fix the account button.

I fixed the code. It’ll show up for you when the other developer gets online to push the changes.

If you update there’s now a version 2.0.2. I found I sometimes had to wait a bit while everything loaded before the text showed up. This seems to happen if you have a lot of extensions to load. Try waiting a bit longer and see if it appears.
I have the same problem on Chrome and Firefox, and 2.0.2 hasn’t helped. I’ve also waited a good few minutes before and nothing. :c
Are you replying from the notifications menu (the lightning bolt) or the dash? Do you have “reply from dashboard” checked in your settings? It works for me if I reply from the notifications menu with “reply from dashboard” unchecked, but I’m having a hard time finding notifications on my dash to test with, so I can’t check those.
I do not have the in-dashboard reply thing checked, no, because Old Xkit was working fine without it and the little pop-up hurts my eyes.
I have tried from the notification tab and the dashboard both and it’s the same result. \o_O/ Literally no settings have changed for me from old to new.
Okay, whatever that patch just was fixed it. ob I can reply from wherever now. Thanks.
There wasn’t any patch, but I’m glad it’s working for you now. Is anyone else still having problems?
I may have gotten a belated/delayed one, then, because I got an Xkit patch notice and suddenly it worked. \o_O/
This sounds like autoupdate is just being slow, but that doesn’t explain why manual update isn’t working. I’ll put that on our list of broken shit. In the mean time, it looks like the solution is to wait for autoupdate to do its thing. You can turn on update notifications in the “other” tab of the extension browser to keep track of things.
