Is Xcloud aviable on this new version? Just asking as I would like to keep everything I have on my old xkit intact. (Have 2+ Years of some sweet art references saved there.)

You can download, but not upload. If you use Firefox, your old XKit settings should carry over. I think outbox is the only thing that doesn’t. If you use Chrome, there isn’t a way to automatically carry things over yet.

If you’re worried about archived posts, you could save them as drafts before switching over, then archive them again. It would be a pain, but it might be better than losing everything.

xkit new xkit xcloud It's probably possible to make a 'save everything as draft' button for post archiver converting drafts to archived posts would be harder though Anonymous

I use Chrome and one click reply hasn't been working right for me, it just makes the reply it's own blank text post. I updated to 2.0.1 already and it's still doing it

new-xkit-extension answered:

If you update there’s now a version 2.0.2. I found I sometimes had to wait a bit while everything loaded before the text showed up. This seems to happen if you have a lot of extensions to load. Try waiting a bit longer and see if it appears.

I have the same problem on Chrome and Firefox, and 2.0.2 hasn’t helped. I’ve also waited a good few minutes before and nothing. :c

Are you replying from the notifications menu (the lightning bolt) or the dash? Do you have “reply from dashboard” checked in your settings? It works for me if I reply from the notifications menu with “reply from dashboard” unchecked, but I’m having a hard time finding notifications on my dash to test with, so I can’t check those.

How soon can you publish this extension to the chrome webstore?? My browser has grayed out the extension saying "This extension is not listed in the Chrome Web Store and may have been added without your knowledge" and I can't find a solution that I like enough to fix this problem permanently.

It’s there now. The link is under the blog description. We’re also on the Firefox addon store.

this came up even just switching from text submission to photo submission on your blog. i just got all my settings done, and it took a fair amount of time. is it really necessary to reset?? one click posting also suddenly stopped working when this started popping up. my other extensions are adblock, ponify, an rss feed reader, tampermonkey, and a simple highlighter. browser is chrome. ((thank you so much for all youre doing it is so cool!! and im very grateful!! i hope i get a reply but please take your time and dont overwork!!))

Thank you very much for the submission and for the kind words!

This bug was introduced about an hour ago. If you update to Tag Replacer version 0.4.1 it will go away. Resetting is (thankfully) almost never the answer.

This is some very broken shit.

This looks similar to another bug that started when someone clicked the “xkit installer” in the extension browser. Did you also click that? If not, could you tell us what your browser is and what extensions you’ve installed?

General PSA: don’t click the “xkit installer” in the extension browser. It’s an artifact of how we reimplemented extension downloads, and I’ll be asking the other developer about hiding it when they get online.

not sure if this has been brought up yet, but one-click reply is extremely broken. it doesn't autotag users by their urls anymore, custom autotags don't work anymore (such as if I set it to tag all replies posts as "#replies", it won't happen at all), and the formatting is broken. to have replies be cleanly formatted, a bit of manual work needs to be done such as switching between the html and rich text editor to see what the post will Really look like since the new post editor is deceptive

I just pushed version 2.0.1 of One Click Reply which fixes a large amount of the problems people were encountering with it. If you are still having problems with version 2.0.1, please let us know.
